Target Rock direct-acting, spring-over-disc safety valves are installed in the main steam safety valve application in both pressurized water reactors and boiling water reactors since the 1980s.
All designs feature a flexible disc technology to ensure tight sealing over a wide range of plant conditions. Valves supplied with Belleville disc springs and are ASMI III and ASME QME-1 qualified. Options include a fully qualified air operator and and a position indicator.
